(We need a stroller soon, do you?)

I'm a little hesatant to do this, but then again... Our last stroller met its fate on a family excursion. I would be excited to win this because the brand Chicco is quality and expensive. I'm excited! So wish me luck, and luck to you too! (Just click on the picture/button above to get instructions to enter.) You should really check out my Ode to Allie below. Don't forget.

Nearly Two...

Allie's personality is really coming out--- and she is a ham! She is saying cute little things all the time and out of context and we are really enjoying this milestone.
She "gets me" from under the computer desk and plays "Wow: There She Is!" She also casually announces as she crawls in and out from under there that she is "bonking, bonking, I bonking."
No worries, she has found lots of ways to "use her head..."
And come Sunday, she's angelic with some of her favorite words being, "Amen (after prayers), Jesus (when ever she finds a picture of Him), and humming, leading, and dancing during the hymns. Her favorite game is Ring Around the Rosy in Nursery and most treats she says, "No, sorry, sorry."
She spends a lot of time at church so we are very blessed!!

A Report on the Crab Festival

("Working up our appetites" at Crecent lake before joining the festival. This is Allison, who found her echo on the peaceful warm October morn.)
Views from the table
Typical "views" at a venue ;)
We finally were home to go to the Crab Festival this year! It was yummy, and the busiest we'd ever seen our town. So we had a great time with Bryn and her friend. Jake did a good job not eating too much crab (he has a slight anaphylactic reaction) and we had big ribs, roasted corn on the cob, and CrAB so fresh, you didn't need butter! YUm. Jake also had a plate of steamed clams and oysters (which is where I draw the line). See ya next year!

Special Post: Our Little "Lime"

The classic ultrasound photo (baby's head on the right, rump on the left)! I am 13 weeks along so that means I'm due April 17th, which is near our wedding anniversary. I think it is a boy since I'm not as sick as before (though still sick!), but Jake is sure that he wants all girls! So we will see in the coming months. --We are those kind of people who need to know gender before delivery.
We have the latest and greatest in medical care and except for the baby moving during this photo shoot, we were able to see quite a bit of our newest family member. We really like the care here, mostly because professionals are pretty natural and knowledgeable, we are not too far away from the big city just in case, and for a rural area, we have great access to the latest and greatest technology (mostly for the large elderly population in retirement).
So for now, we include 'Little Lime' in our prayers until he or she grows big enough to be called 'Little Apple.' I use a site called Babycenter.com to check in about all those fun little things to think about! I hope this post answers your welcome questions as well.
Thanks for your support!! Keep us in your prayers.
Love, the Woody's
