"Hello, We're the Sick-houses"

Jake put it best, we are the Sick-houses now.
I know that is how it goes and loving family members pass around the Cold, but still. COME ON ALREADY! Me with my fuzzy preggo brains forgot to ask if I could have a flu shot at my last appointment. Allie got two flu shots- the second "a booster" because I was pregnant. And she did put up an impressive fight. (At the Doctor's office, too.) But when your dad is a Sick-house (think the bigger they are the harder they fall) and then your mom (and I thought moms weren't supposed to get sick) turns into a big, round, very pregnant Sick-house there's nothing to do but become a full-fledged member of the family Sick-house.
Let's just say this is a rant, and morale is low. I'm pretty sure this poor girl in my tummy is thinking gravity pressure is eight times more than it really is (and yes, I do think of "silly" things like that because of all my coughing, sneezing, blowing, expectorating, etc. etc.)
Anyway, wish us luck! Especially me. I'm not using anything but regular strength Tylonol, dilluted Gatorade, and Vicks Vapo-rub on my feet. Can somebody call the Waa-mbulance for me, and why didn't you do it yesterday?? Waa!
Side-Note Caption: Jake snuggled with pillows, cough drops, and his favorite Kambodian blanket he got from his grandparents. There's a story there. He loves it, so do I. -I looked at the tag once, it was made in Taiwan. I don't get why it's the Kambodian Blanket, but I'm an in-law. Please, Please, don't get sick!!

Honey and Baby 'Do

A tale depicting The perfect weekend of Love and Chop-sawing...
Hope everyone had a great Valentines Day and President's Day!
And however you expressed your love, I'm sure it was personalized and romantic. We, for two, exchanged gifts we "needed." He got me: a trim, black leather jacket (for when I'm not housing one of God's creations) and Me got he: reciprocating saw and drill set. A-thank you!
...Allie? -Got sugar rush after rush. After rush. rush. To the point she was unrecognizable. She's doing a bit better now and very helpful. Everything is "AMAZING!!!" -pronounced [Uh-mA-thEEn-!-]
An Amazing bonus besides was that we doubled the storage space in our home this weekend.
A great time to celebrate!!

So It Begins- I know! All my posts lately, I've got babies on the brain!

Well, I'm getting ever closer to my due date. Time to think about names! I think it is really important, and I fret. This is my favorite site right now- check it out. I have a printout of the play-off brackets so we can be organized as we narrow it down...
Anyway, I tell ya, it's a serious "time waster" but fun. There's maps, charts, I've said too much! Wish us luck naming our second princess!
We'll keep you posted when we get to the play-offs...
