Big Woody Update!

So we're checking in with ya'll! Jake's been to Mountain Man Scout Camp, Allie has been sick, I've got a new baby to grow, and we just got back from an over due trip to Idaho. ...Wait, did I say we were pregnant again?? You bet! So keep on checking in with us and we'll keep you posted. Enjoy Our Life in Pictures:

"The Harvest"

We have found a new treasure in the area! Graysmarsh Berry Farm. In about an hour we picked 5 1/2 pounds of blueberries and 7 pounds of big blackberries for $23. Plus I think we got a real bargain, or Jake did anyway, because he said he ate about a pound while he was out in the field picking!! Don't worry, he got a tummy ache as a lesson. I was a few rows away during our time there and could hear Allison bossing him around from her 'new' stroller so everyone had a very fulfilling time! Yum.

New Traditions

Labor Day 2008 we participated in the Lake Crescent First Ward Picnic. Bovee's Meadow is reserved well in advance each year so members can meet, eat, ...and of course jump in the lake. Allie loved wading back and forth and did a mighty fine job lugging around a ten pound diaper full of lake water! Just call her "Lady of the Lake;" Oops. We still plead new-parent-no-know-how. But I think we have sealed our fate on a new and lovely tradition. :)

Allie's New Fave: the Alley

So the Church Youth trip to the lake was rained out... time to go bowling! Allie, of course, LOVED it and she got to bowl with her daddy! (He even scored a little better on frames with a bowling ball in one hand and an Allie in the other. Go Figure.)
