We Did It!

Whew! We moved. (Before and After Pictures come Later.) This is Jake and Allie (and I) cleaning up the last of the apartment. What Helpers! We have had alot of great memories here. New jobs and a new family member. Doesn't get much bigger and we are grateful. Especially for our sunny little apartment by the sea.

Big Hurrah!

Before we buckle down with everything and the new house, last week we went out with a big hurrah and it was fun! Enveloped in the special Backstein Family Reunion was a day with the Dormans (see photos). Jake had literally the coolest day of his life getting his eyes seared by unburned fuel at the starting line. "Semi Finals" in Kent. I still don't understand what all that means, but F-U-N. Allie and I and Em, Sam, and Jackson and the Koontz family let us have fun and keep cool, too. Hurrah!

A Little Story, Sent with Love

Look at this little baby! You'd think she never saw clothes before. But it does remind me that we need to be grateful for the necessities and people who live in far away lands (Idaho) who love us and send us fun things to wear. "Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Kaeley! You are a real life savor; I just seemed to have misplaced my pants moments before this package arrived."
So the moral of the story is: Have a great day, but don't ever forget about your pants.

There was a big sponsored show on about twenty minutes after this video was taken --and after everyone and their dog light off their own purchased 'biggies' all around us! Much funner for Allie because she could hear all the whizz-banging and see kids enjoying their own shows. So not much to see in this clip but you can hear Allie and us having a great time!So hope you all had a Patriotic weekend. Our Fourth was great with the sound of waves lapping and combing the pebbly shore, fireworks ablaze with backdrop where "the mountains meet the sea" and as I turned around to see Canada before getting back into the car; well, just one more confirmation I couldn't want to ever be anywhere else!
