Wacky Wednesday

(Read as the story of the same title, by Dr. Seuss)
It all began with that snow on the ground.
The snow on the ground...?
Shouldn't even be found!

Then I looked up.
And I said, "Oh, MAN!"
And that's how Wacky Wednesday began.
We were late for school.
We started along.
And then we were fools...
We turned on the news
KING5, KOMO and KONG.

Oh, many things were wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong!
And our St. Patrick's Day crafts
They looked wacky, too.

Decorating with hairy spiders?

What's a mother to do?

(I hung it up anyway.)

Then time for yoga,

It's a serious class,

But they couldn't stop tumbling and laughing,
and (...passing their gas).

This one looked in the bowl for a snack

and she said, "GEE!"

(Mommm- a round carrot stick won't fit inside me.)

"When is Santa Claus coming?"

in a Cindy Lou Who Voice.

"...Then how will we get our presents?"

These children are so choice.
